This Chamber is Nonpartisan.
This Chamber has a large contingency of government officials who use the Chamber platform to engage with local business leaders, small business owners and, importantly, each other, to engage on the issues that affect us all locally in a nonpartisan manner on a neutral ground.
The Chamber has a Political Action Coalition* that hosts a Breakfast Series with candidates presented by the Chamber and passes along the event information of endorsed candidates that are of interest to our membership.
*The Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce Political Action Coalition is not an official body of the Chamber. Chamber Members that have interest in the local political apparatus meet informally to initiate support for highly qualified candidates for public office.
