A lifelong resident of Macomb County, Maria is deeply rooted in her community.  The proud daughter of Italian immigrants, her heritage and Catholic education at St. Anne Elementary and Bishop Foley High School shaped her core values of hard work, compassion, and commitment to family and community.  She actively volunteers, having served as a church usher, a prayer partner to prisoners, and participating in fundraising races for causes like the Hope Water Project. In 2012, Maria campaigned for Macomb Township Trustee, an experience that deepened her connections with local residents and businesses, fostering meaningful relationships throughout the community.
