Lou Peters brings a wealth of experience in banking and financial services to his role as Membership Coordinator of the Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce. With a distinguished career in commercial lending, Lou has dedicated decades to supporting small and medium-sized businesses, helping them secure the financial resources needed to grow and thrive.

Lou has held several leadership roles, including managing a commercial loan division and serving as a regional credit officer. His expertise encompasses financial analysis, negotiation, sales, and all facets of banking, making him a trusted advisor and advocate for businesses.

Dedicated to continuous professional and personal growth, Lou holds both a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Business from the Graduate School of Banking.  Beyond his professional accomplishments, he enjoys reading, golfing, and fostering meaningful connections with people in the community.

 

As Membership Coordinator, Lou leverages his extensive financial background and people skills to strengthen relationships with members and enhance the value of the Southeast Michigan Chamber’s offerings.
